The Sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-6)
UNEA-6 was devoted to the theme of how effective, inclusive and sustainable multilateralism actions can help tackle the triple planetary crisis of climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste.

Baikal Plastic Free Alliance’s representatives participated in the Sixth session of the UN Environment Assembly, presented key achievements and advocated for greater recognition of private sector efforts. The Alliance was presented as an example of how to tackle the triple planetary crisis of climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, as well as environmental waste pollution.

10th World Water Forum
The largest international multi-stakeholder forum, where participants from all over the world share their knowledge, experience and practices on the spectrum of water and water-related challenges.

Alliance introduced its practice in tackling pollution problem of Lake Baikal. Baikal Plastic Free Alliance was recognizes as a "promising project in solving water challenges" in Compendium of best practices under the Ministerial Declaration 10th World Water Forum. En+ Group scientific-environmental expedition, which helped to form scientific base for formation of Alliance, legislation and other projects and initiatives in the region was recognized as one of the top 5 practices under the category "sustainable lake management".

Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on Plastic Pollution (INC)
The work under the sessions is carried out on the resolution (5/14) to develop "the instrument", which is to be based on a comprehensive approach that addresses the full life cycle of plastic, including its production, design, and disposal.

The Alliance participated in three sessions of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee: INC-2 (29 May — 2 June 2023, Paris, France), INC-3 (13 — 19 November 2023, Nairobi, Kenya). Participation approved in INC-5 (25 November — 1 December 2024, Busan, Republic of Korea).

Dushanbe Water Process
The Alliance participated in the number of conferences as part of the Third High-Level International Conference on the International Decade For Action "Water for Sustainable Development", 2018−2028. The conferences provide a platform for promotion of action, partnership and policy dialogue, review the implementation of the Decade, as well as to promote interlinkages with and contribute to other relevant processes.
